What Is My Full Voice?
Garrett Gardner said that “when we were (all) kids we used our full voice”. The one we were born to have. He’s so dead on! Kids are so loud. They project (too) well with a full voice. I’m not hateing on kids and I don’t suggest you try to sound like them (for your sake). They just know how to use their full voice. Uncontrolled of course. Garrett Gardner is President and Founder of Full Voice. This is the adult version of full voice, meant for professionals in many fields that need and want to communicate and convince.

Garrett Gardner of Full Voice
I wrote about Garrett after a one hour visit with him and finding out I could “tune” my voice. We make a big thing of changing our voices. Books, sitcoms and movies have files full of that story type. Ritchie on Happy Days, even the Beaver! Would Michael Jackson be able to sing when his voice “changed”? The killer is that we go to work on changing it OURSELVES! You know, it’s not cool enough or it just isn’t me? “You’re so lucky, I hate my voice” or “that is my voice”… we drive ourselves crazy! OK, enough. I am going to do something about mine. I have been a public speaker and have forever known that I could be better. So starting today, and for the next six weeks, I will meet with Garrett Gardner and work on getting me a full voice. I’ll tell you how I’m doing it and how I am doing at it. One thing, I have to record my voice everyday for the entire course. So at the very end, I will let you compare my voice at the beginning and the end to see if you think I developed a Full Voice. You up for it?
